I'm sorry I haven't been on to post on my blog.

It has been well.. hectic...

Hospital trips.. Drama off idiots and internet going down a number of times!

I hit rock bottom yesterday, I ended up having ambulance crew out and they had to give me gas and air as well as 10mg morphine into the vein (which is the most they'll give), Thank god for the morphine because of it, I could bend my knee at the hospital.

Today was another knee dislocation, paramedics well. .First ones were great (the first respond team) but then we had a ambulance crew to take me to hospital, I could have slapped them a few times. Made me 'bum shuffle' down the stairs without any gas and air - every movement was killing me and the guy kept saying "Come on..." and trying to make me rush. BACK THE HELL OFF jackass...

Once at the hospital - I couldn't believe it, my knee popped out of the 'lock' it had gotten itself into, and popped into bloody place! A doctor who I've seen before said to bring me into the room she was in, asked how i was feeling and felt my knee. She was happy to let me come home if I was happy to - So I said yes please and husband got us a taxi home. I was really scared, that everyone would be angry at me, but everyone says they're not - they understand, I was in agony, it was lucky that it just decided to pop in, in the waiting room! XD At least we didn't have to sit round for hours on end with people who you just want to slap.

When in taxi, some nurse ran past mentioning a gun shot injury. Some guy was in his car, and me, hubby and taxi driver actually parked and watched. He'd been shot in the foot. I was like "How the hell, do you get shot in the foot - seriously!!!" XD

A paramedic actually asked me Monday - "Do Dislocations hurt?" I was on the gas and air and kind of looked at her like 'Are you bloody serious?!' Hmm.. some people aye?

I will be writing more often now, writing this has helped me get this off of my chest. Watching 'Russell Howard's good news' and then off to bed.

Lucy is confused

My dog was so funny last night! Me and hubby were looking through Netflix and of course, our dog Lucy had to jump up and join us!! She is such a cute thing! A pain at the same time! LOL

So we are looking through the things to watch and it makes this noise  - if you've got it or used it, you'll know the little noise.

Lucy suddenly looks at the screen with a confused look - every time we make the TV make the noise! I
love my girly!! <3  <3  <3

14th September 2012

Sorry I haven't been able to keep you all up to date! It has been one hectic week I will tell you that! Right.. So...

Monday - I dislocated my right knee, ended up going to A&E had a doctor who knew NOTHING about Hyper-mobility syndrome or Fibromyalgia... He let me use the gas and air I ended up crying my eyes out because he just made me feel like I knew nothing and he was going to do this and that. So he finally let me come home with my leg wrapped up in a 'Robert jones' bandage. Which.. Was bad news...

Below is what my leg looked like in the bandage.

Tuesday -  I woke up in agony. And then - Right knee dislocated AGAIN! But with the bandage on I couldn't seem to push it in properly. I was screaming in agony and we called a ambulance. The paramedics were AMAZING! I couldn't have asked for better. They gave me gas and air, talked me through it, got a cannula in to my hand and gave me some morphine and anti-sickness. Amazingly they stayed with me for over two hours and talked me through it whilst I put my knee back in place. They were amazing <3

Wednesday - So... I thought maybe I could rest. My right knee thought wrong XD. Again dislocated, this time was agony and I couldn't even take painkillers because I just felt so damn sick. So I had to have ambulance out - Well I wish i hadn't now! The paramedics were terrible. Unprofessional, didn't smile once, they gave me gas and air,  gave each other evil looks. One tried to put a cannula in my hand and I just warned her about my veins as they are kinda silly and wiggle sometimes when they try and put a cannula in. Anyway, she looked shocked like I had slapped her across the face!! I apologised if I offended her, saying that I was just letting her know. She admitted I insulted her and refused to do the cannula. Even though I had just dislocated my knee, they made me walk on it! and bum shuffle down the stairs to the ambulance. I was in hell - the hospital was packed and I waited over four hours. I was so happy I knew the doctor, because he was amazing and knew what to do! He sent me home to rest <3

Thursday - GOD... You'd think my knee would want to rest right? Well.. Nope.. I went to the bathroom (struggled to get there with my mother's help on crutches).  I used the bathroom, brushed my teeth etc.  Next minute you know, both my ankles dislocated, as I fell and twisted, my right knee dislocated. So I tried to grab the sink with my right hand and popped my right shoulder out! Finally..... I hit the floor and hit my head. I cried out for help and my mom called up my husband.  His boss told him to get home quick. So he jumped into a taxi and rushed home. My parents are pensioners so they couldn't lift me. So my hubby finally got home, lifted me up in to a wheelchair and manipulated my joints for me. We spent the rest of the day and night upstairs watching stuff on Netflix and BBC I player.

Friday - Today - The husband has today off - YAY! I felt rough as hell and knees burnt. And again.. right knee popped out - half way down the stairs, was lucky for me to be going down on my bum so I didn't fall. I got it back in place the easiest this week.  I had my Tramadol pain-killers. Parents and hubby got me downstairs and onto couch. So here I am.. Typing to you now! Oh and when It happened earlier - I was crying my eyes out and my cute doggie pictured below decided to start licking up my arm, trying to comfort me. She is such a sweetie <3 Tomorrow I want to go to a local park in my wheelchair with husband to get out and enjoy the day!!

Friday 7th September 2012

God.. This day.. Woke up burning sensation in joints! So did basic make-up and typed up my medication list, health history and my allergies and printed out a few copies making sure that next time I ended up in hospital. - I could just give them the paper rather than talk through the pain.

I looked to my right and looked who I saw!

My cute doggy Lucy! She'd snuck in - past me on the bed and found a spot to sunbathe in - Falling asleep! God I love this dog.

So - I thought maybe that my joints would be okay.. the pain I could handle.. But maybe, just maybe I wouldn't dislocate! Boy was I wrong. BOTH my ankles AND my right knee popped out!! JOY! So I took my Tramadol and anti-sickness and me and my mother manipulated my ankles. But my knee.. My god.. I was screaming for hours until finally I couldn't handle it any-more and pleaded for a ambulance.

They came quick and gave me that lovely gas & air which didn't take the pain away but thank god it made it more bare-able. They soon got me to he hospital and let me thankfully keep the gas and air.

So the doctor came, checked my ankles and my knee and decided a x-ray was needed and that he'd give me some pain relief other than gas and air as it's short term. I dreaded the needle but it wasn't too bad - there was more blood than the nurse expected but she did really good :) So I had the X-ray and they found out my knee is in place (thank god) but but aligned properly - it'll hopefully shift over itself. So they let me home. Was so tired was falling asleep in the taxi home.

A doctor I know - came over and felt my leg muscles and he couldn't believe how weak they'd gotten. So - I am now pushed MORE to help myself than ever. Starting from now - It is time to get my life in order people!

Below is two pictures of my hand -  of the drip they put in with IV pain-killers.

Thursday 6th September 2012

So I didn't get much sleep and got up with hubby who leaves for work at 7am. Was lovely seeing him in the morning. Knee was burning like hell and hurt :( It sucked! So flicked through netflix and lovefilm on the xbox trying to just ignore the feeling.

As time goes on (still on bed rest for right ankle) I felt worst and worst, knee pain grew and the swelling grew too! Ended up having to do 10 minutes with ice, wait 10 minutes, then continue with 10 minutes.

But as time went on. It got worst! Hubby came home, couldn't believe the size, so called my GP who gave me advice and said he was coming out... Could be a joint infection... I dunno.. So I waited and thank god it went down and the doctor said to rest.

So tired! May go sleep in bed all snuggled up  and warm!!!

Below is a picture of my knee and leg swollen compared to the other one ( The right one is the bad one)
It got even bigger than that a hour or two later!!! =O  Goodnight people!

Wednesday 5th August 2012

Well.. What happened this day.. Hmm... Had a rough week with dislocations/sub-luxes. Today was the worst of the week - both my ankles decided to pop out. Causing me to nearly fall but luckily grabbed on to the bed.

Both ankles were in agony - but put left one in easily and the worst one was defo my right one which I noticed seemed to have a small hard looking bump poking against the skin. It looked abnormal as hell! So I took my Tramadol and Paracetamol and some anti-sickness to stop me from vomiting. Once the hubby got hoe we finally decided to just get it checked out at the hospital as I was in a lot of pain and the ankle could have took some injury from it.

The ambulance came out & they gave me a mask rather than a nozzle to use with gas & air which was so much better than the nozzle guys! It gets into your lungs quicker and it's excellent. They got me to shuffle down on my bum ( that was a sight I'll tell ya! ) and got me to hospital where I met a very nice guy in hand-cuffs escorted round by two police officers who had possibly dislocated his fingers. Also a 6 year old girl who had broken a bone in her elbow!! By end of it, doctor says a small tendon had ripped and curled to form a ball under skin and I have sprained the right ankle! AGAIN! Oh the joy! Was so happy to get home and got a taxi home.

Below is 2 pictures of my ankle wrapped up nicely by the doctor to help reduce swelling AND support it :)

Welcome!!

Hey! Thanks for viewing my little Blog/Online Diary - I just wanted to put something on here to share my story. To show people even with conditions like hyper-mobility syndrome, fibromyalgia and other conditions that are classed as 'invisible' to others - That you can get through this.

I will be a posting my process on here & hopefully show that it can be done!!

Below is a photo of me. (On my 22nd birthday, that was 7th May 2012) I wasn't 100% then but much better than I am now! But - I WILL get better than I was that day - It is a promise I am making to myself. As in this photo I looked quite pale and felt a little rough! Always have a smile on your face!!
